Building A Team

I have been working on a youth program for a couple years now. The main focus is to restore hope back into our younger generation and prevent suicide physically as well as emotionally, mental and spiritually. The goal is to get into schools for assemblies. Each presentation will include humor, inspiration and music.

Today I am putting a presentation together to present the idea to a group of people.

I am starting a non-profit and need a handful of dedicated team members to build this. During this meeting I will present the details and will carefully interview each candidate. I may invite a lot of people, but I am expecting a small handful to have the heart, dedication and qualifications to work on our team. I am excited to work with them.

I am excited to be moving it forward. It has been a long process, and I am relieved to see if blossoming.

I have no idea how to build a team, non-profit, or lead a group of people in this manner, but I will do the best I can.

This has been on my heart for so many years, and it is time to bring it to the table.

I am going to need all the help I can get.

Challenge: Recruit people to help you

Words: Sticky note

I Don't Care If You Read This

Can I be honest with you? I really don't like sharing my life with anyone. I want to just live in my happy little bubble, create magnificent things and enjoy the special people in my life.

I've continued to have a pressing force in the back of my mind and heart that I am to share. Share what I am doing, how I think, beleive, and plans I am moving towards.

I don't like the idea one bit, but I will do the best I can to share.

It's interesting that something you feel you are suppose to do, is the thing you hate most. Why does it have to be that way?

I do not like to be in the limelight or have light shown on what I'm doing. I repulse the idea actually. I have ran and hid from this responsibility for years, but it has now cornered me. I will give you all I can. It is going to take work, humility and practice, but I will share.

To be honest, if you like what I share or not, I don't care. I can't care. It's hard enough laying your life out a silver platter for the world to see, so I can't care what results, praise or hate comes from it.

I am moving out of fear of my soul being destroyed, if I do not move.

I hope that one day that energy will be transferred to wanting to help people out of love and not out of duty.

Love me or hate me,

Get 'Er Done

To gain more, you first have to cut back.

You cut back on spending. Cut back on specific food and calories. Cut back "time waster" things. Cut back on physical belongings around you. Cut back on people that don't uplift you. Cut back on too many commitments, etc.

It's literally bridling every passion and pull.

Having the discipline to eat the right foods, budget your money, spend quality time with the people most important, saying no to unfruitful yet time filling opportunities takes immense focus.

Disconnecting from mindsets of "Have to haves" "I'm suppose to be here" and "This is how it goes" is challenging.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am a happy person. I experience a lot of peace, see blessings throughout my life and feel the love of God often. I have beautiful supportive purposeful relationships and am very blessed.
I could pretend that my life is perfect and without challenges, but that would not be telling you the truth.
I work very hard for what I have. I consistently, and weekly, sow into each individual relationship important to me. Sometimes the relationship has been one sided, and has taken years for some to begin to return the same love given, but the fruit is growing. This isn't always easy and takes time. Eating organic, gluten-free and refined sugar free on a $25 budget a week is not easy either. It takes a lot of thought, strategic meal planning and compromising desires, but it is possible, and I am doing it. It is not easy to donate most of what I own to create space and energy to create at a higher rate than before. It is not easy to focus, motivate myself, work from home, be in complete control of my schedule, and discipline my time. It is not easy to stare my weaknesses in the face and go after them instead of run. This is painful and not easy, but I have become a better person everyday by the emotional, mental and spiritual work done.
Each one of these things takes intense work, focus and faith to believe they are possible. That the work now, will pay off later.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am feeling the pain of lack today.

I create these situations myself, and on purpose. The lack I am feeling today is disconnecting from what I once felt was important and defined me. It is time to move on from these things. In these moments I have to be gentle and kind to myself. Walking myself through a process of understanding, as if I was a child. Explaining to myself that I am worth it, loved, and the cutting away is for purpose.

I really do believe that refining you, your area, your interests, your ideas, your time= beauty in the end.

The seeds have been planted and I will continue to nurture each of these "plants" and desires. Fruit will show its face when the season comes.

Love Dreamer Di

Challenge: If you are working towards something, don't see how its possible or if the work is worth it, keep going. I really do believe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I Can Feel It

My eyes have been opened that I have hid for so many years.

All I know is, since I cleared my entire room, and got rid of a lot of connected emotional baggage in the last two days, I am free.

My gifts are shining, unashamed. For example, last night I expressed mightily through dance and boldly felt every beat.

I am amazed by what I am experiencing. It has only been one day since the finish of my cleansing, and things are blooming beautifully.

I can feel it.

My offering of release worked.
~~~~~~~~~
You know what I realize. People are either going to love or hate you.
Fully express anyway.
I can't cater to each persons thoughts, feelings or misunderstandings.
That is not my job or problem.
But what I can do is express what I have, and who I am.
I will continue to do so.
I am also imperfect, and gosh it feels good to accept that.
I Am Not A Painter
I am defining who I am in this moment.
I decided that I was going to go through my room and get rid of anything that does not align with my truth, who I am, and where I'm going.
It's interesting, I am defining who I am by declaring what I am not. I realized this as I decided to get rid on hundreds of dollars of painting supplies today. I realized, I don't want to paint, I don't ever want to and I don't want to keep this anymore. I am not a painter.
Instead of there being a loose end of "am I a painter?" The answer is no. I just decided. This is not how I want to use my creative energy. I jumped into painting head first, tried it.... It's not for me. I'm letting it go.
~~~~~~~~~~~

I believe that I am letting go of emotional ties to the past while I do this. Holding onto things because they cost me money, a new hobby I tried and didn't stick with, clothes that one day I might like, a gift because someone gave it to me, things I held on to "just in case."

It's all going.

Realizing that giving away an item is not taking away from the moment, experience or relationship, but giving me room now to enhance what is important.

I am done wasting space, energy, thought, creativity and more.

I am done with it.

I even am burning my vision board I made in 2008. Those things were all great goals then, and I accomplished a ton of them, but I'm through with just having dreams on a board. I want reality. No wishing, hoping and praying will ever be enough without doing the action it takes to get there.

I have had a lot of excuses, a lot of fears, a lot of stupid things I clung to and I still have a lot more work. But I have to let them go to succeed.

Letting go of false identity "stuff" will assist in letting go of things mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

I want the RAW refined truth of who I am, my gifts and what I'm here on earth for.

I get rid of all this stuff in appreciation and peace, for this all has been part of my journey. Every hobby tested, every style tried, every note, writing and book read, has led me to who and where I am now. I am proud of my journey. But 90% of what surrounds me, does not serve me anymore.

I willingly and lovingly release it.

I invite you to let go of what does not serve you either.

To Freedom,
Love Dreamer Di

Design Your Life

I am focused on preparation today.

Over the past two years I have gained the skill of strategicly planning ahead. Making lists, refining priorities and doing as much possible, in the shortest amount if time.

It has become fun and a game for me.

It is the best feeling to know you've literally done everything you can think of concerning an idea or experience.

Example: I am going on to a business conference to LA this weekend. (Danijohnson.com) I have planned my time, food, purpose, finances, clothes, priorities and resources. You name it, I've planned it.

I have written up goals to accomplish and what I want to bring home from the experience.

I have a one page paper typed up to review each thing I've planned throughout the weekend. Now I just follow directions. Easy enough eh?

This isn't a vacation. This is a planned educational event. A place that I will leave different than I was before.

I expect a lot from myself and this experience this weekend.

I literally can't think of another thing I can plan for this weekend. Every minute is purposeful, whether it be for learning, business, relaxation or fun. It's planned and now I can flow in the structure.

The Storm Adventure ;)

Listen to this music as you read this post:

You know, I was thinking.

Pain has formed me more than anything I think I have ever done or experienced.

It has been pain that has helped me stretch, release and heal wounded muscles and body parts.
It has been pain that has made me sit up straight and have good posture.
It has been pain of circumstance that pushes me to change who I am and my surroundings.
It has been pain that gets me out of bed each morning, knowing there is more to life than how I am living.
It has been pain that has turned me to God often and strengthened our relationship.
It has been the pain of possibly losing my shot that has kept me going.
It has been the pain that kept me reaching out to love another.
Pain has helped me learn.

Pain can mold me.

I want to figure out a way to use the pain in my life for good and to learn from it.

Why does struggling make us grow?

I think it is an opportunity for us to make some choices:
Are we going to continue, or are we not?
Are we going to believe there is more beyond the pain or stay here?
Do we believe we are strong enough to fight?
The choices could be endless and specific for each person.

I am beginning to embrace pain and mold my life around it, in peace.

Peace comes from trusting God, even in the pain. That there is purpose and relief on the way.

We can't control our circumstances, but I do believe we can find peace along our journey.

Be strong through the storm,
Dreamer Di

Let It Burn

I am shocked at the skills that are uncovering from my last two years of hell.

The crap has been burned, the ash and stubble is being wiped off and the end result is not what I expected.

It is way better than anything I could have thought of myself.

I'm excited to see where these new uncovered skills take me. They are hot off the press and ready to roll.

I am not afraid of them.

Don't Give Up

You know, I was watching this video today and the beginning, when the plane crashed, reminded of some thoughts I had the other day.

http://youtu.be/ZOy0YgUDwDg

You know how they say, "God won't test you above what you are able?"

I believe that.

But I also believe it gets pretty close. I've never been so close to loosing everything as I did this last November, 2013.

If I wouldn't have listened to God, humbled my heart and came to people for help, you wouldn't be hearing from me right now.

As scary as that sounds it was reality.

This last two years I have had to fight with every ounce of strength, will power and determination to not quit on life, love, dreams, purpose, people, myself.

I did everything I could, but still little relief.

This last test burned hotter than ever. This was when I was tested if I would give up on God.

I was so angry with Him.

I didn't understand His timing, purpose, and why I had struggled so intensely for the past two years.

I felt He had abandoned me and that His promises would never come true.

And because of that, I chose to turn from Him for just a split second.

In that second I was almost destroyed.
~~~~~~~~~
In my last ditch effort, I turned to God once more, I broke, and He caught me.
Let me clarify, God is one of my bestest friends. He has been there for me and supported me through so many ups and downs, rebellions and victories.
And because of the relationship we've built, I turned back to Him.
~~~~~~~~~

You know how they say, "When you're struggling, it is because you're about to   breakthrough, something beautiful is about to happen, be promoted by God etc?"

I believe that. I am living proof of it.

I don't know what God refined out of me these last two years, but whatever it was, I'm glad it's gone.

I am happy, peaceful and have let go of unimportant things and details. I am enjoying the moment, preparing for the next, but not worrying about the future.

Although these last two years were hard, I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I have been praying for peace, joy and love for a long time. I didn't realize I needed some nasty things pulled out that blocked these beautiful gifts.

If I had given up I would have never experienced the beauty I am feeling now.

It is a miracle. It is a blessing.

God knew what He was doing.

And He knows what He's doing now.

I'm so grateful for Him and the loved ones who supported me when I had no strength to fight or stand.

Don't be ashamed to ask for help. God and people want to help you.

You can do this.

Hold on,

The Only Thing

What's on my mind this morning:

The only person I'm competing with is myself.

The only person I am trying to impress is God.

The only way to accomplish anything is the make a plan and follow it.

The only way to be happy is to trust God in his plan for you.

The only way you know what plan is specificly yours to follow, ask God.

Focus On Focusing

Today I am focusing on focusing.

Ironic ay?

Without focus I will not accomplish anything.

I make plans, strategies and how to implement them. I work for hours on refining desires and priorities, but then let myself get distracted from them...

When I let one piece of my life overide another I become imbalanced. When things become exciting and results start happening, this is when, surprisingly, I get distracted the most.

My success coach, Dani Johnson,at Danijohnson.com said "The worst part about success is a little bit."

I am now seeing more of what she means. As I have started to see/taste results I have become imbalanced and lost my stance, which has killed my results too.

It is a learned skill to move consistently, instead of just by passion. It's the balance between consistency and passion that is needed.

I'm at least aware of the imbalance and am actively working to straighten it out. I'm glad I caught it when I did.

This doesn't mean I'm going to change these habits without a fight. Change takes every ounce of fight you got.

I am pushing for consistency right now. I want that skill to be a part of my character, so I will work on it.

I have a routine, health plan and priorities thought out, now, just to follow them..

Grrrrrrrr,

Challenge: Look at where consistency would bring you the greatest result, and be focused and consistent.

Let It Go Dreamers

Hey Dreamers,

I am taking a lot of leaps in trusting right now.

I feel like I am floating through the air like a autumn leaf. I am letting go of expectations, titles and unimportant ideas. I feel I am actually enjoying the wind and riding it instead of fighting it. Such a beautiful thing to picture and feel.

I'm sure the wind has been blowing for years. I can imagine I was holding on to the fence with everything I had to resist getting blown away.

I don't think I understood or have trusted the wind. Trusted that God can really take me and lead me.

It's not that I am passive and inactive as I let the wind blow me. It is a constant effort to let go when I'm directed, finish projects when assigned, destroying pride, choosing to change, and trusting when life's timing doesn't play out how I thought. Those are my actions when the wind blows.

Trust, movement and choice.

I feel like these last two years have beaten me down and burned hot. At times, I really feared my strength wasn't enough, and I would lose everything I had that was beautiful.  The burning and beating was for purpose. As I am coming out of it, I see what the creator was doing.

I don't know exactly what broke in me over this time, but all I know is. I am now open to letting people in and love me, I have surrendered to guidance and am willing to do whatever it takes to follow directions. I feel smaller than ever before, yet my power and light that is shining is more refined, focused and bright. My power comes from another strength, not my own. I have been broken in, like taming a wild mustang. Bridaling my passions and directing them.

You have no idea how many times I have been face first on the floor in tears to get to this point. Tears of release and healing. Tears of gratitude and joy. Tears of disappointment, tears of dire pain, tears of regret.

It has taken a lot of work to get to this point, of blowing in the wind.

I am still learning how to trust, but I have come farther than I ever thought I could.

I pray I can continue to enjoy the wind, let it move me, and refine me.

I pray you too can trust the wind and let it move you in peace.

Thank you for loving me on this journey dreamers,
Dreamer Di

Give Yourself What You Need

Good morning Dreamers,

I've been up since 3am, thinking.

Not the most ideal hour, but I realize it's because I didn't give myself time to think/process yesterday. By not planning time to meditate and think, I unknowingly I filled each minute of my day.

I'll give myself grace in that then, and take responsibility for not giving my mind what it needed. And what it needs right now is time, space, to process. So I will give it the opportunity to do so.

It's been interesting to find a balance for each piece of me. Example: now I have to plan a nap into my day to give my physical body what it needs.

I've learned the hard way that being imbalanced in any of these areas creates chaos and potential pain from failure.

It's taken trial and error methods to come up with the solutions and conclusions I have.

I respected my mind this morning by not getting angry for being awake but giving it a couple hours to work some things out.

Since my nervous breakdown in February 2012 I have had to learn how to give my mind and body what they need, not overwork them, and listen to them.

I am learning how to honor my presence as a whole. I have blown by my body, mind and spirits desires for years. Disregarded their intentions, wisdom and needs. In doing so, it has brought me results and problems I do not want.

All I know is, because I have taken the time to get to know my body, mind and spirit, I am learning their needs, and my life is unfolding beauty. It is pleasent.

We are so complexly made.

Balance is where I find peace.

God has been a great help, friend and guide.

Hope you have a great day.

Might be nap time already,
Love Dreamer Di

Tasting Results

Hey Dreamers,

I've been working for years to downsize.

Refining everything about myself and my surroundings.

This comes with the information I put into my brain, the people I surround myself with, getting rid of nasty old habits, and disconnecting from things and beliefs that don't create a result and good.

One favorite thing/hobby has been to disconnect from material items.

I am constantly going through what I have. I am realizing that my emotions have changed and they do not connect to things anymore. This is so freeing.

Talking with my roommate tonight I realized: I am mobile.

I am mobile.

Holy crap, I am mobile... I've created the exact environment and possibility that I have wanted for years.

I have created jobs for myself where I plan my own schedule, make as little or as much as I want. I can work anywhere in the world, still do what I love, and I am my own boss.

The reality and result of the environment I have created is finally hitting me.

I have disconnected from greed and the desire to spend money.

With work I have grown to not fill empty wounds in my soul with things that are not nurturing. Food, money, stuff, lust, and entertainment is not where I turn anymore.

And because of that, my pant size is shrinking drastically, bank accounts increasing, material things decreasing, including the stress of protecting/owning it. My time is filled with meaningful things, people and purpose. I am so blessed.

It has been a struggle, beyond what I ever expected, and there is more refinement to come, but I have created space for what I love on a daily basis.

I still have work to do in perfecting my craft, gaining skills and following directions, but I'm tasting some results from my work.

I am getting down to the very essentials of what I need. Consistently working to let go of things, the past, fears, and excuses.

In doing so I have found so much freedom. Freedom you guys. Freedom.

You know, God asked me a while ago. "Diana, what do you want freedom to look like?"

I have taken that suggestion seriously and have worked to create freedom daily.

I have a couple decisions to make this year. A lot of them would not be possible if it weren't for the freedom I have created around me.

I wish I could express how blessed I feel.

As I make these decisions I will fill you in on them.

Diligent work pays off,
Love Dreamer Di

Challenge: Think about how you can downsize you life. It can be throwing out a bag of things you don't use, making time for what you love or saving money instead of spending it. You can do it.

Perfection And Love :)

I'm learning a couple new things today.

One, that if you want results, you must be willing to give up perfection.

This is so freeing.

I've waited a long time to share pieces of me and my heart. I have waited until I felt it was good enough or perfect. Some times I have waited too long...

I am happy to realize that I do not have to be perfect before I share/be myself with others.

I realize I don't have to be perfect before I love someone or bless them with a gift of friendship.

I don't have to be perfect to do what I love or live life to the fullest either.

I am not perfect, but am beautiful. You are beautiful, important and special.

It has been nice to let a lot of unrealistic expectations go.

Another thing I am learning is joining with another in love is about the two of you, not just you.

It is not what you lack and how they do not fill your need. It is how much you can help each other move forward.

Today I was sad for a bit. As I prayed for the other party my own pain was lifted because I focused on lightening their load first. Sometimes a deeper understanding comes from stepping back and looking at the bigger picture.

I was grateful for this clarity today.

Anyway, I hope you can let go of perfection and love each moment, creation and piece of you.

We Are All The Same

This last week has been pretty good.

I uncovered a lot of things. Some were easier to swallow than others, but all together, they equaled progress.

It's amazing how real things can feel in the moment. My journals are consistent with their ups and downs, pushes and pulls. In that aspect, I'm sure our lives look the same.

A great reminder that we are all the same. Each person is learning, growing, struggling and searching for joy.

We are all the same in desiring peace and being hopeful of the future.

We are all the same in wanting to feel satisfied at the end of the day.

We are all the same in wanting to be fed on many different levels. Whether it be physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually etc.

We are all the same in wanting to be loved, accepted and cared for.

We are all the same in so many ways.

As we interact with people around us let us remember to be patient, kind and loving to each person.

Merry Christmas!

Gaining Strength

I'm gaining strength.

It was challenging to recognize at first, but I feel myself gaining strength and power again.

I believe that my power comes from God. I believe that my power comes from healing and removing things that polute my thoughts and restrict my actions.

Focus is becoming real.

I am learning how to "Focus the sun through a magnifying glass." Createing heat and results through focusing passion.

This skill will come through continual practice.

I've been having fun with balancing and feel I'm doing better.

Amazingly, sleep is my number one priority. For with enough sleep my spirituality is enhanced, I'm protected from negativity, my mental capacity is deeper, I have an increased ability to cope/adapt to changes, my body feels better and I make wiser decisions.

I've learned the hard way that neglecting my sleep leads to burn out and a lot more mistakes than I need to make..

Let's succeed ay?

This Is War

So last week I started working with a coach again.

It has been quite a while since I have had someone help me sort my excuses and fears.

I realized today I have a lot of underlying fears that need some attention. They all end in self sabatoge and result in not reaching my desired destination.

They are annoying.

I am taking the time today to dig deeper and figure out what the hail is going on. I'm happy to pinpoint the fears, for it creates a possibility to overcome them.

I realize there are ways to get around these fears, but I want to get rid of the suckers too.

Doesn't it make you so mad to realize you are scared of something? It motivates me to move even more.

Will Smith once said "The only thing I fear is fear itself,"

It is true, fear keeps us bound and from movement. I hate fear with a passion and I'll do whatever it takes to destroy it's influence in my life.

My heart is on fire this morning, creating a steady determined beat. Let the drums roll.

True Facts

You know, I've been thinkin. A couple people lately have expressed that I post words of inspiration. It is true, and I'm so happy my words are touching your life in a positive way.

But to be real with you, being optimistic is a choice. Usually the words I share are conclusions to combat my own fears, doubts and insecurities. They often come with tears, temptations to quit, thought, and work.

I share the ending result in hopes to save you time and suffering if you are in the same situation.

I'm not a super human. I don't have something you don't. I'm living my life as well as I can. I am incredibly flawed and have so much work to do. I choose to see my flaws in broad day light, then, instead of letting it shut me down, I face them and change them: lots of work. I'm sure you do the same with your flaws.

I do have some Character traits that create strength, encouragement and inspiration, but those have been trained through work and hardship. They haven't been handed to me on a silver plater, decorated in fine stones. These attributes have been groomed in me, then I have just chosen to share them with you.

I want to be able to connect with you and be your friend. Please don't put me on a pedestal as something unattainable. You and I are both alike, we're striving not to give up and we're in this journey together.

Some skills are shown in my writing, ability to express, and love for people. Can you imagine if everyone shared their skills? The world would be such a better place. I invite you to continue to share who you are, to better the world. I know a lot of you, and you have so many priceless gifts to share. Thank you for giving.

Have a great day:)
