The crazy things you do to go Adventuring....

So a week ago I realized I didn't have the cold hard cash, to pay for my river trip, on the 25th of June.

I am still learning how to strategically work my new job as a writer, to make sure I get paid at the right time..

I knew I had to come up with some other options.

So, I called up my old work, talked with some employees and set up to cover some of their shifts.

This long shift would give me enough money to pay for my trip.

I just worked from 6pm to 730am in the morning... A 13 and a 1/2 hour shift, a long night shift!!! Haha

No excuses right? I will go on this trip. ;)

Go for what you want. Stop letting excuses keep you from you dreams.

Next Adventure: Colorado River Trip :)

I decided I'm gonna start sharing more of my life with you. Hope you enjoy reading more about my adventures and how I think. <3

So excited for more travel this summer. I just left a really good friend of mine in Vegas. Stayed with her for 3+ weeks helping her with her new baby and keeping up on the house and errands.

It is really nice to be home. As I was driving up to my big'ol city I couldn't help but feel proud. There really is something about your home base that is beautiful. :)

My next adventure is an awesome river trip with my friend Teddy. Gunna be able to pass "White Water Rafting" off my goal list. Way excited about it.

We're gonna be on the water for 4-5 days, sleeping on the bank for the river on cots, hiking, enjoying the sun and having a blast. Way stoked for this next adventure.

Im looking forward to getting a lot of nature healing time, wearing my Chacos (www.Chacos.com) all day, and enjoying my time with some wonderful friends. :)

I will update you more, as more comes.

Walked my dog today. So nice outside. Something about the breeze, that really uplifts.

Thoughts in my head: Am I going to let a bad experience mold me into something bitter or better? Trying to figure out how to let go, and let it change me for good:)

Was reading in a really good book, about a man who believed.

Had a desire, and a dream.

Taking a while to get to his destination, he still believed it would come.

Trusted in the promise.

So interesting to me.

Because of this trust, his desire came in perfect timing. He was fully prepared.

I like that.
