Routine to peace

Routine routine routine

I have never really enjoyed it. Too restrictive sometimes. But I have started to like it.

I have found that as I plan out my day and get the important stuff done first, I can relax and enjoy the rest of the day. :)

I also have found that mornings are so fun. I was up at 445 this morning and have accomplished so much, and it's only 745.

Love it.

I've had a couple days where I've finished everything so fast, that I've been almost uncomfortable with how much free time I have. Ha

Planning ahead is what brings peace. How do you know what to plan?? Talk to God about it. He's a cool dude and has good ideas:)

It's taken some time to refine what's really important to me. Still workin on it.

Time is a blessing, use it wisely:)

  1. I love spontaneity, but I thrive best with a routine. I've learned to love early mornings too - before anyone else in the house is awake. I go for a walk outside or go to the gym and stretch and get my body moving and ready for the day.

Defining what is important to you is vital! It is so easy to waste time these days because we have so many distractions. I like to assign a time for studying, for personal spiritual pursuits, for exercise, for work, for phone/computer time, etc. And truly, I am never bored. Ever. Generally, people who get bored are those who are easily distracted (but not always entertained) by tv and other pointless things, or those who don't set aside specific time alone. I need time by myself to plan, observe, talk, listen, and heal. And with all that plus normal activities like work, who has time to be bored? haha
